The beautiful ‘Peplos Kore’ of the Acropolis comes alive and takes the students by hand on an amazing journey upon the sacred rock, for them to see the most important works of archaic and classic art that are hosted in the Museum of the Acropolis...
Through a theatrical play - dramatised narrative, which turns into an exploration game, enrichened with digital material, theatrical games and representations, the students will learn about the history of the Acropolis and its monuments and discover the secrets of ancient Athens’ civilization and history that led to these unique works.
This pre-visit interactive educational program prepares the students to understand the origin of the items they will see in the Museum or for a visit to the Acropolis.
o It takes place in ‘Kinitiras Studio’, 5-minute walk from the entrance of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum (or other suitable place for school groups in the neighbourhood of Acropolis according to availability on the day of the program), or at your school, combined with Acropolis or Acropolis museum guided visit.
